BOXING / BOX FIT

Boxing ​and Box Fit classes are led exclusively by England Boxing qualified coaches, providing effective, varied and hard hitting sessions aimed at increasing your fitness levels through boxing training and muscular workouts. These classes are open to all fitness levels and abilities, 

WHAT IS BOXING / 'BOX FIT'?

Boxing or Box Fit is a cardiovascular exercise class based on the training principles used to keep combat athletes fit. Exercises such as skipping, hitting pads, bagwork, shadow boxing, sparring, shuttle runs, abdominal workouts and muscle building are all incorporated into a fun and friendly environment.

Whatever your size, shape or gender, our boxing and box fit classes work for everyone. Boxing is perfect to release some aggression, build your discipline or develop focus and concentration.

A typical class will last one hour and consists of a warm up followed by a progressive session including boxing drills, cardiovascular, muscular and footwork exercise, padwork, bagwork and sparring.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Shorts or loose fitting bottoms and a sports top. Club uniform should be worn when possible
