Boxing ​Fitness classes are led exclusively by England Boxing qualified coaches, providing effective, varied and hard hitting sessions aimed at increasing your fitness levels through boxing training and muscular workouts. These classes are for adults (16+) and open to all fitness levels and abilities, 

WHAT IS BOXING FITNESS / 'BOX FIT'?

Boxing Fitness or Box Fit is a cardiovascular exercise class based on the training principles used to keep boxers fit. Exercises such as skipping, hitting pads, shadow boxing, shuttle runs, abdominal workouts and muscle building are all incorporated into a fun and friendly environment.

Whatever your size, shape or gender, boxing fitness works for everyone. Box Fit is perfect to release some aggression, build your discipline or develop focus and concentration.

A typical class will last one hour and consists of a warm up followed by a progressive session including boxing drills, cardiovascular, muscular and footwork exercises with a particular focus on fitness and toning.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Shorts or loose fitting bottoms and a sports top. Club uniform should be worn when possible
