Combining the effective functional methods used in martial arts, with aerobic & anaerobic workouts makes this class, varied, fun & a huge calorie burner.
WHAT IS COMBAT FITNESS?
Combat fitness classes take the physical fitness aspects of martial arts training and combine them with varied aerobic & anaerobic workouts to provide a diverse, engaging and dynamic exercise class suitable for a wide range of people.
These classes also provide an opportunity for all members of #teamLSK to increase and develop their fitness levels through circuit training and intense exercises targeted at the right areas needed for kickboxing / karate performance.
There is no grading syllabus, sparring or competitions to worry about, just dynamic, high intensity exercises used to engage your core muscles, improve your flexibility and get you moving.
Sessions normally begin with an intense warm up and stretching to ensure your body is suitably prepared. The primary part of the session is dedicated to aerobic and anaerobic fitness, incorporating punching, kicking and pad work to get you working as hard as possible to achieve your goals,

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Shorts / loose fitting bottoms and a sports top. Club clothing should be worn when possible
